Beautification

Our fair city is undergoing a huge sprucing-up campaign prior to this year's tourist season. Sweeping, cleaning, painting - most of the public spaces are being fixed up. The arch by our apartment on the road to Playa La Ropa is receiving a much needed facelift. The paint was faded, the facade cracked, and surrounded by undergrowth. Today, it is beautifully painted, especially now this worker has finished up the white on the inside of the circle, clean and tidy. I think everyone is hoping for a good tourist season this year and are putting in extra effort to ensure our city's infrastructure is a beautiful as the bay and hills that surround it.
