Huge appetite

Flick and I went for a romantic St. Valentine's Day breakfast of burgers, chips eggs and sausages. Although quite hungry, we ordered a smallish meal - as opposed to the gut-buster breakfasts you could have. Meanwhile, a little old man came in for his lunch. We both felt that he seemed quite interesting photographically, so I set the camera up clandestinely so that he wouldn't see it. Then the old boy changed seats. He positioned himself so that it required quite a feat of manual dexterity to get him in shot. That big shape on the left is me, so you can see the trouble I had.

Anyway, the old man ordered the gut-buster breakfast AND bread and butter as well and when it arrived started to slowly chomp his way through it. He was coming up to about half-way through it as we left, but still going strong. Nice to see the old folks with a big appetite - possibly it had to last him most of the week.
I wonder what stories he would have to tell if we asked him...but it's rude to talk with your mouth full, so we didn't
