Salon des Refusés ?

I can't tell a lie, it's been an awful weekend and I was anticipating finding some moody monochrome blip to reflect my glooms.
But blips happen- admittedly the lead image is a bit dark and maybe I should have just left it at that, but I didn't want to dump the two extras - firstly a pair of pretty flamingoes in Brick Lane and secondly, middle daughter selling festive cards, hiding behind a display thing I wittled for her this weekend.
Let's hope things improve soon...
