BUSY DAY OFF

I took Mum Christmas shopping in Bromley. We were too late for a scooter but wheels of sort helped us to go the length of the shopping centre. We managed to get quite a few bits and a toastie lunch.
Having chosen a jumper for Christmas Mum gave it to me as a thank you gift....now I have no idea what she bought!!! maybe she just told Santa!!

In the evening we went to church 1 vicarage for an evening of seasonal drinks and nibbles. Unfortunately The Rev got a call to the hospital and sadly it was our old foster child’s grandmother who had died. He has autism and found the emotion difficult to understand and said his chest hurt and he thought he might cry....which after being told it was ok ...he did for an hour. We ended up staying at the hospital until 11:30....chatting/counselling and making teas!!!
#shame these ambulances blocked us in parking on a red grid square!!

Thankful... to have known such a kind lady and impressed to see The Rev in action; quite humbling.
