Toast for Cheese
Round to the artistic garret for a most tremendous lunch - who knew that starving artists could be such great cooks? Och, he’d even gone as far as sourcing dried black limes. No mean feat in this one horse town. And as for that dessert, yowza indeed. And meanwhile his elegant SK swanned about, keeping drink and conversation flowing. Whilst occasionally clapping the dug, and taking it out for an Eddie, of course.
And then we suddenly had to take our leave, for there was only one hour of the Summerhall Christmas fair left. Long enough for me to buy some bizarre Xmas cards; I think my judgement wasn’t quite what it was some hours earlier.
