Kindness

I'm going to be playing an outdoor gig with the Ukulele Society on Thursday and I've been having a bit of banter on Facebook with my chum Neil about whether or not I'll need some fingerless mitts as it's turned a bit chilly.

My knitting skills are about on a level with my cooking skills - I'm fine if I'm doing anything very straightforward but not exactly the brightest lamp in the shop if faced with anything remotely complicated so imagine my delight to receive this gorgeous, snug pair of mitts made by a lovely lady I met via St Margaret's Church of Art and Norwich Pride. She is a demon with the knitting needles (amongst other crafty things) and produces the most amazing creations.
