AFTERNOON SKY

Today has been freezing - the water in the bird bath has been frozen solid all day. Didn't venture outdoors and took this shot through a bedroom window.

Neil arrived home at 2.30am after his night out in Newcastle. He had got a taxi to the end of the street but by the time he got indoors he was so cold that his teeth were chattering. No surprise really as he wasn't wearing a coat - just a thin shirt and chinos. Its not the done thing for the young- and often the not so young - to wear a coat if they are off to the toon. You wouldn't catch me out in this weather without a coat.
