TINO

We had SNOW overnight but it has almost gone now. Bitterly cold though so I didn't venture out. Neil kindly popped down to the local Tesco - he bought cat food, eggs and bread. Lily is very picky with her food and only likes Tesco own brand beef in gravy and one particular variety of Whiskas. Tino on the other hand will eat most things.

Had to phone a boiler/heating man about my boiler - its losing pressure as there seems to be a leak in a pipe underneath it. Water is dripping and I have put a bucket to catch it. Luckily the boiler is in the utility room so this isn't an inconvenience. The boiler still works if I keep twiddling a knob and sorting out the pressure but then it drops again and I have to sort it out again. At least I can still get hot water and the radiators are hot. So a man is coming out tomorrow to take a look. I guess that's another day of staying home -but in this weather I don't really mind.

Newcastle United played Wigan this evening. They won 3 -0 against a 10 man Wigan. Whew - we won a game at last!. Didn't go to the match as it would be far too cold for me. Evening games are a no go for me during the winter months.
