Not Working!

Whilst at the Band Concert on Saturday night the LCD screen on my camera ceased to function.  On further investigation it would appear to be beyond economic repair (now, there's a surprise)!  The only practical solution is to buy a new camera body. The camera itself works ok, it's just that the tilting LCD screen is such a useful and integral feature of the camera, for it not to work is very frustrating.
I have set the camera to a 'point and shoot' mode and Mrs MD has kindly offered her camera (see extra) for me to use - Bless her :-)
