On Guard

A long drive today (thank you lovely M, you've earned your beer), from North Norfolk to St. Albans and back to visit my dad and step-mother.  Dad has just turned 92 years old and doesn't like going far in the winter.  So, we paid a flying visit, took them out for lunch and swapped Christmas presents before returning home.
This cheerful chappie was outside the Elveden Cafe in Suffolk, where we stopped for a quick coffee and shared a delicious spicy toasted tea-cake en-route.
