A Quick Thaw

B and went for a stroll with cameras at Holt Lowes this morning.  This area is next to the Holt Country Park but unlike the country park which is mostly woodland, this area is open heath with some undulating lightly wooded areas where sunlight can reach the ground and allow other plants to flourish.
The early morning frost was rapidly melting but far from that being a disappointment, we were met with dripping foliage back-lit by the low winter sun...nature's fairy-lights!  It was quite beautiful.

The extra is of the low sun illuminating the very last remaining green foliage.

Time itself comes in drops.
