What a day...
Still coming down from the euphoria of yesterday's match!
We had a great time, met up with our really good friends who we've been to watch England with lots of times, but not for a while. Drinks and a catch up in the Eel Pie in Twickenham, then a meander down to the stadium with a stop for a jumbo hot dog & onions on the way.
I took Gary's photo as he pretended to prop up a huge rugby ball & then he queued to get his pic with the cardboard cutout England team which made us all laugh (great photo though!).
I don't need to go through all the details of the game, you've probably read enough reports plus watched the highlights a thousand times by now (or is that just me?) but it was the best we've seen from England for ages so we ended up very happy.
Few (hugely expensive) drinks at the Rose & Crown outside the West Stand listening to the karaoke then back into Twickenham for a great curry at Sheesh Mahal and more laughs with our friends. Then it was time for the bus back to Feltham and our hotel. Great day, over too quickly though. And now, roll on the Six Nations...
