Up Early

Sunrise from the bedroom window. We were up early today to go walking, a nine miler from Teignmouth along the paths and lanes, through Bishopsteignton, and Lindridge and back. The views across the Teign were lovely, enhanced by wispy woodsmoke and mist. No traffic noise, no people, just the sound of silence most of the time. I must mention The Old Workshop - as we were passing the entrance to the farm which has a brewery and a cafe, the farmer and proprietor was just coming out on his trike with three dogs. He stopped to talk to us and was just so pleasant and nice. We were too early for the cafe but we will go back as it sounded delightful. The Old Workshop
