At Kilpeck: Panto Raven x

Kilpeck is a traditional farming Hereford village. Kilpeck also has a traditional British christmas pantomime. They have been performing every year for the past 17 years. The cast is made up from typical villagers and perhaps a few from outside Kilpeck. Its like beautiful reunion every year of people who come together to become something else on the village stage. The sense of community is lovely.

The script, so carefully written is at times ad-libbed with laughter from the stage. I was asked to help with the sound effects. They didn't seem to mind my throwing in the odd, der-der-der- sound effect by accident, when I was supposed to be aiming for the twinkle sound! There is no serious element, mistakes are the hall mark of the village panto! The show will come together because of the love and passion of the cast. The audience are the community, so in turn they are part of the show. Thats what will makes this sell out!
