The Egg

After picking up a load of timber with Vinny this morning Helen and I headed into town for some Christmas shopping.
Bold street first for some lunch.Started in Leaf but it looked like a load of nonsense with things like poached egg and avocado.Helen asked me what I would like and I had to answer honestly "nothing off this menu".
So we went to The Egg which is probably my favourite cafe in Liverpool.A vegetarian cafe, wonderful food and a great atmosphere and a step back in time.It serves the best cheese on toast known to mankind.
What to buy parents?I don't like buying gesture presents and they are of the age when they have most everything they want.

Well what can be said of Brexit other than it is a complete balls up.Why on Earth did Ms May not let the DUP negotiate for us?Perhaps then we would have had a worthwhile deal.Only one thing is worse than a no deal brexit and that is no deal and a Corbyn government.It is horrible to see Labour slavering in the corner thinking they may have a chance of putting their 1970 ideas into action.If that happened mass emigration could be a problem.
