Sunshine in a rose

What a cold morning - frost everywhere and very chilly outside. I felt sorry for people who were working outside early this morning.

I dropped Thomas at the station as he was going to London today to join a friend in his 18th birthday celebrations - go karting followed by lunch. I have stocked up the fridge in anticipation of all the boys being home this weekend, and then caught up on some admin. 

Tonight we are going to friends for supper, and Luke should be home by the time we get back. Adam is waiting for some results in his lab and will probably come home tomorrow. 

My yellow roses are starting to fade but I thought they were still good enough for a photo.
