On charge

Sign of the times. This electric car charge point has recently appeared on a local street alongside a hotel.
Things are improving for EV owners. The first time I took one away for a weekend, a few years ago, we had to stretch a cable through a window into the hotel basement to charge it overnight, and plan the homeward route via another charge point and an over-long coffee stop.
Charge anxiety is still a handicap to electric vehicle ownership, but it’s a future route for most of us.
