Winter gloom

After a bright start to the day, the weather has gone steeply downhill. Southern England is now being lashed with rain, on the fringe of Storm Deirdre which is bringing worse weather further north.
To add further misery, we had a partial electrical failure in the house caused by an old light fitment tripping out. Hooray for our reliable local electrician who broke into his family Saturday to fix it. Thanks Kevin!
