Potential Hat

It's an easy pattern, and the others didn't seem to have a problem with felting (which is a process of shrinking and compacting a knit item to make it warmer and more solid--you may have done this inadvertently to a favorite sweater on the wrong laundry cycle). Doing it on purpose is another matter, at least for me. It's been washed in hot water twice now, and thumped around for a bit to twist the fibers together, but it is still too big and doesnt yet have the look I'm after. I'll try again. Watch this space.
