When Fergus Savaged some Seaweed
6.4C bright with some cloud. SW wind to 26 mph with gusts to 36 mph then moderate SE/SSE breeze.
Note: Yesterday was very stormy with torrential rain and heavy winds from the South East.
Grocery shopping.
We drove the ten miles or so South to Southend then followed the road round past Dunaverty beach and Kiel to Carskey Bay. No seals on the rocks at Kiel today. Tide high. Waves breaking and rushing up the beach. Sand has started to build up in front of the damaged dunes.
We walked along to the far end and back.
The beach was empty when we started off Fergus was let of his lead early to go bonkers and run off.
Coming back there was a large group of people coming along with a pack of loose collies so we took a path along the back of the beach for the first part to avoid them, then came back onto the beach to get back to the car park.
Later Apothecary7 was painting.
BBC Radio 2 was on in the background.
