The 9th monthly gathering of the excellent GSR took place last night (Sunday).

Full house - and, I think, the best one yet. A rousing rendition of Fairytale of New York, complete with 'snow,' from Tales of Jake, a very funny and animated Pearse James, magic from Stuart Thomson, poetry from Jim Monaghan and (as the blip shows) Tom Stade, who headlined.

Brilliant. Avanti indeed.
