Scene Ouverte.....

…..Open Mic is the equivalent in English.  We took a  little jaunt into Cannes for this musical soiree.   It was a good opportunity to put the French into practice.   Although clearly we have some way to go to understand the system!   I opened the door to have a peep inside the hall 5 minutes before the start time and it caused the most disproportionate uproar in the foyer.   So I cried into my plastic cup of paint stripper wine for the rest of the evening.   On the plus side some of the performances were very good.
