Christmas Trees St Tropez
We took a long drive along the coast road to St Tropez today. Disappointingly, it was very overcast and wet today, so it was not the St Tropez you might imagine. By the time we arrived, what little light there was had all but disappeared, so the photography opportunities and conditions were not great. These Christmas trees added a splash of colour to what was otherwise a very grey afternoon so it was a quick shot for Blip. Having paid 5.40 Euros for a small coffee and then got thoroughly soaked, we decided to head back. It was a treacherous drive on mountainous roads, hairpin bends, at night, in the rain, through patches of fog with sheer drops on both sides at various points. I have not been able to help with any of the driving due to my broken foot but I shut my eyes and winced supportively at appropriate intervals.
