Vertical Pastel.

I've been watching an artist i admire creating his under paintings....his pastels are amazing and beautiful, i don't feel drawn to paint landscapes (which is what he is well known for) but i thought i could use his method and take my painting in an abstract direction.  This is done on pastelmat sanded paper,
9 1/2" x 12".  It is a lovely surface to work on!
