A visit with Charlotte

We had a big dump of snow yesterday and last night, then it rained .... so we ended up with about 4-5 " of very heavy snow.   I really didn't want to miss the 2 appointments i had in town, so out i went.  the trip down the Big Hill was pretty slippery but ok....i was certainly concerned about the return journey, knowing that the chances of the plow clearing our road by mid afternoon were virtually impossible!!

So, i had my physio appointment, and that was good, she's given me all sorts of exercises to help me get some strength and flexibility back!   Then an afternoon with Charlotte.   She is an amazing woman....we had a lovely visit and i always find something of interest in her home.   These shells are from New Zealand....aren't they stunning!!!

Then it was time to tackle the Hill!   as expected it had not been plowed, so i took many deep breaths and 'plowed' my way up....slip sliding all the way, almost lost it a couple of times, but i just keep at it, slow and steady.   

now it's time for a beer!
