Tree up

Ella and Nathaniel helped me decorate the tree. We hadn’t intended to have one, as we are going to #2 daughter’s for Christmas, but #3 said we must as the children are here on Xmas Eve and would be concerned Santa might not come. In fact, though Ella is not yet 7, she is questioning the whole thing. if God and Hell don’t exist why would Santa and the Tooth Fairy? We said it was magic - now she is wondering if God is magic - but just in case, she’ll accept Santa otherwise she might not get presents. Hohoho.

Today we went to a lecture about the declining population of the nomads in a remote area of Ladakh.
