Inflation on the high street

This balloon seller looked very miserable; its not been a good year on the high street and things aren’t looking up even with the help of helium. I found my brief trip into town rather depressing, although the walk did me good.

A long and uncomfortable day going to the loo every hour as well, although I did manage some down time amidst chores and decorating. On the plus side energy levels generally up which makes a change compared to recent days.

Watching a very strange Cohen Brothers film called The Ballad of Buster Scruggs. Bit nihilistic. So can’t say it’s been laugh a minute today. Oh and I had the surreal experience of waking up ravenously hungry at 3am and coming downstairs for tea and toast. Very odd ...

On the plus side got some very good feedback on a piece of stuff I had written at work and did do a lot of online Christmas shopping - with a week to go that feels a lot more positive ...
