History in the making

I’ve often wondered what it would be like to live through an existential crisis for your country. How different would it seem in real time to the dispassionate lens of history?

For example, Neville Chamberlain was widely viewed as doing the right thing at the time, although views changed pretty quickly as his negotiated peace fell apart. The point being he wasn’t viewed as the worst Prime Minister of all time until we had the benefit of hindsight.

It doesn’t feel like we need to wait with Theresa.
