Aiming High

An age after a reconnaissance trip we took the Flumlet to Eden Rock, a climbing centre, to see whether he enjoyed it enough go regularly. There is a separate section for young climbers, but there is no harness or safety rope so they need to learn to be self-reliant.
He was fortunate to have the whole area and a trainer, Nick, all to himself and was put through several skill levels before attempting the castle, which he scaled and climbed over the ramparts with surprising speed
He did enjoy the experience; whether we return regularly depends on several factors - watch this space.
