I Went To A Marvellous Party

The party was held at Rock Cottage in Gibraltar. That's a bit like calling the palace Buckingham Bungalow. It is a huge Colonial house, perched on the side of the Rock of Gibraltar, overlooking the Bay Of Algeciras.

There must have been 200 guests (most of whom could fit in the kitchen when the food was served) and who came from every walk of Gibraltar society, from the chap who looks after the string of exotic Mercedes to the Chief Minister, Fabian Picardo himself.

The real champagne flowed like water and I even managed to find some excellent Argentinian Malbec, which was a bonus.

Jacqui caught up with lots of old friends and acquaintances and had a good old natter till it was time to leave around 12.
