Hands of Four Generations

A visit to mother in care home today accompanied by younger daughter and her daughters, I didn't have to do any of the driving which was lovely and traffic wasn't too bad with the return journey more arduous that the first - several reasons involved there, one of which was traffic!
My mother was not too bad although she asked us if we'd had a good Christmas!  She is a poor old girl now though and looking very frail.

Last rehearsal for Bach B Minor Mass this evening with the performance on Sunday (23rd).  I had tenors bellowing in my ears most of the time.  A very good tenor has joined us for the performance - he used to sing with us until work took him away; with his presence, the other tenors seemed to feel they had to sing extra loudly to prove that they are as good!
I expect it will be alright on the night.
