Tidy porch

The new shoe rack, varnished and in place.  In extras is a photo taken yesterday, before we cleared all the rubbish out of the porch to clean it allow my lady who does to clean it.

There are left over shoes, but they are all pairs we no longer wear, so can go into the rubbish/charity box.  And I deliberately only included the corner of the washstand as it still needs some tidying.

It's nice to get things done before Christmas.  Last year we were tidying the office on Christmas Day.  This year, we have my daughter staying, so we'll make a proper meal.

Shortly we're going to see what we can do with the stack of pictures for hanging.
