Today's the day ……………………….. when the boats came in

Lots of fishing boats in the harbour today.

It was maybe because the tide was at its highest and it would have been easy for them to navigate up the narrow channel from the Solway Firth.  But I'd like to think that they were all safely moored up - and their crews off home for Christmas ……………………..
