Thawing Out..............

...................after being frozen solid overnight! These pretty Viburnum blossoms were covered with a layer of ice first thing this morning but the sun is now shining and the ice is beginning to melt. Have kept a close eye on it for the last hour or so and drops of water are now visible and I have managed to capture some of them. This is such a lovely shrub and it is amazing how these delicate flowers stand up to such a hard frost and still come up smiling!

Weather is frosty, very cold and with bright sunshine and very few clouds. A beautiful day!
