Amethyst

Description, Amethyst - Purple or Violet precious stone, a variety of quartz coloured by manganese. I received this in the early 1980's after bringing Television to a highland village. The whole system was cabled from the mast , on a high hill, down to the village and cabled to each house. It was called Piped TV by the press in those days. What did they know??
I have always liked this piece, some of them often seen in jewellers shops to drape gold necklaces from and on. I didn't go out today as the weather was rotten and got this idea from Daver64's blip yesterday. different item though, so thanks Daver64. Its a change to do a blip controlled by the weather.
