At the feeding table
It was very cold this morning, -2 degrees and as our feeding table wasn't being used, because I've put up feeders for seeds and peanuts and also fatballs in the front of the garden last spring, the table got neglected. And its in a far better vantage point too. So I moved the two birdseed feeders round and hung them from the table. I also poured a load of mixed sunflower seed, peanuts and various seeds on to the table.
Well we then within minutes had an invasion of Chaffinches, Robins, Sparrows, Coal tits, Bluetits, Blackbirds, Great tits and this magnificent Starling. I took 55 photos over a few minutes of all the birds, but this one, to me, stood out the best.
So I give you The Starling at the feeding table!
