Feverfew

These are the last of the decent flowers in my garden. All the rest are sodden or have rotted away.

In the 24 hours from yesterday morning to this morning 43mm of rain fell- about a month’s worth. And I had to wear my fleece jacket and down jacket over my alpaca cardigan again today. It was 11ºC at midday, but the high humidity delivered what my son calls “the misery factor.”  When is, or was, the longest day? That could easily be missed in these dark conditions.
