Christmas Nails

Had my nails done this morning for Christmas, then had coffee and 'pa na chapa' in the cafe next door to the nails place. Bb and I then met up and went to the hippy market in Ipanema. We had an hour or so separately there to wander around and do a wee bit of Christmas shopping, sticking to our deal of only buying a few little things for each other.

Lunch of grilled prawns in Manuel & Joaquim in Ipanema. We walked down to the front of Ipanema and sat at one of the old yellow-chaired kiosks there for a while, soaking up the atmosphere of the end of the beach day. Further wander to discover that an old favourite place opposite La Garota de Ipanema has opened up again, all refurbished. Stopped there for a drink, then taxi home to Copacabana.
