Heaven on earth

What could be better on a Christmas Eve with blue sky and crisp, still air than to take the family for a walk round Tarn Hows.

Here and in the extras are a few shots which will remind us of a lovely day.

Of course it is a honey pot. But we got there before 10 a.m. so just a few cars in the car park and a small number of people on the footpaths. When we left at 12 noon the carpark was full and many cars were arriving with nowhere to go.
