Santa's on his way

Twas the night before Christmas. ....

We had our second winter walk today. A shorter one than on Saturday - just around the local lanes and fields . My extra is the track back towards the village as the sun was setting.

The day began with a thick fog covering the fields but by 11am it had lifted and the rest of the day was bright and sunny. A perfect afternoon for a brisk walk.

Returning to our village we noticed that Santa had parked his van in front of a house. He had some very special passengers on board.

Hope everyone has finished their shopping, preparations , wrapping gifts, writing cards, and cooking- or whatever is done on Christmas Eve - and are now relaxing and reflecting.
