Bedraggled Shrine

I stopped on the side of the road earlier today, having seen some interesting colours in the field next to the road.  That came to nothing, but while I was there I saw this poignant memorial to someone who died in an accident on that road, in 2017, I think.  

I don't know which is unrelated detritus and which was there before the accident, but it was a sad scene.

Now that I think of it I remember the road closure . . .
