Christmas is Here

A few mince pies made (with the help of granddaughters) and presents wrapped. Not much else to do as I'm not cooking tomorrow - heading down to daughter in Woking to be wined and dined along with other family members.
Our traditional breakfast of smoked salmon and scrambled eggs washed down with Bucks Fizz will be maintained. Fay is bringing the girls over for that, then we all go to Woking.

Managed to finalise dates and destinations for a holiday in January. We are off to Hong Kong and then onto Kuala Lumpur and Malaysia. Other details now need to be sorted but the basics are in place. Very exciting. We had kept the month free from commitments, intending to go somewhere and knowing it would be a last minute decision - it is now decided. Any Blippers in Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur or Singapore??

Mother has improved today! Even her care home can't believe her capacity for continuing to soldier on; she is still not good, though, so who knows what tomorrow brings.
