Coffee and Catch up

I visited a friend this morning and we had a lovely catch up time over coffee. We haven't got together since before I went to Australia so lots to talk about. Her cottage looked gorgeous - all sparkly and Christmassy with tasteful decorations around - she has the knack of putting the right thing in the right place!

At home I was inspired to tidy out the kitchen drawers - I suddenly got fed up with the chaotic mess and disorder. It's now incredibly tidy, although I know it won't last!

Two episodes of the new version of 'A Christmas Carol' to watch this evening. It's my favourite book (well, one of them) so I shall be quite critical of deviations from the genuine article unless it is done well.
