The Team

We've spent the last two and a bit blissful weeks drifting around the huge expanse of this house and it's great grounds happily chipping away at the daily jobs that we're given. It's been great working with new people and chitty chatting away whilst splodging through the various tasks in hand. But it's rare that all are piled up together, apart from meal times of course. So after lunch today I put forward my request that before people pick up tools again for some afternoon grafting, that I take a cheesy pic on the steps to this great house.

We can see Jane and Tony.T smiling those beaming kind grins out at us - the ultimate perfect HelpX hosts, I couldn't possibly imagine a more welcoming or hospitable, laid back but functioning, humorous and interesting bunch of folk; what a blast! We can see tall man Greggers at the back, who's out here writing a film script; what joy to quiz him daily on his progress, continuously chipping away at him that perhaps his film should be a horror; no success as of yet. We've also got Victoria the exotic Argentinian, who shares pictures with us of her tropical land that hugs neighbouring rainforests and patiently lets me try to speak mumbled humbled Spanish to her. Sandwiched between Dan and The Tuckers, there's Clare, the super sparky Manc. We didn't even have to embark on the famous Manchester ask 3 questions and you'll find common ground challenge - straight up - we both knew Annie.T - of course we did.
