A Flood on Christmas Day....

We have had a rainy Christmas Day.... so we spent most of the day indoors enjoying family time. The rain eased off in the evening so Hannah, Duncan and I went for a long twilight walk after our barbecue meal. The Taylor River is flooding in the downtown sections. We had to scramble up stopbanks in places to avoid having to wade through flood water.. It was quite an adventure..getting home in the dark to eat strawberry pavlova. A lovely easy day...
