The Swans....

The flood levels in the Taylor River had dropped noticeably overnight. The river was running fast and there had been some impact on the water levels at the lake above the Taylor Dam. A large family of black swans had taken refuge along the lake shoreline. I counted at least ten swans. Some are shown in this image. Some of our human family members departed for Nelson and Marahau this morning. Kevin the cat went home with them although he would much rather continue to live here with us.
