Miaowy Christmouse

I was looking for a different angle for a Christmas Day Blip, wondering what would present itself.

No sooner had we set off our walk than this wee face appeared over the wall along the footpath. I knew here was today’s blip with a little modification.

What a glorious day for Christmas Day. Sunshine all day to add to yesterday’s equally good weather. At the end of the walk we called in at the White Horse on Bearsted village green. It was heaving. We had our drinks sitting outside in the sunshine.

Then it was all hands to the pump to get the dinner ready for around 4.00pm. We made it more or less on time.

Christmas Day began with Midnight Mass at the village church. Enjoyed singing the carols but I think we’ll stick to the more accessible carol service next year if we can make it.
