Christmas Day 2018

The day started with the Aylesbury Christmas Park Run for me (Chris). I've really let my running slip in the past few months so what better day than today to restart. A great turnout this morning from runners and marshals. 

Back home before 10am and Annie was already well underway with dinner prep. with her brother and partner. The turkey was in and the aroma was good! We spent the rest of the morning preparing veg, trimmings and then the table. My parents joined us for lunch and it was superb, everything cooked superbly, a proper feast.

A bit of present opening this afternoon. With the girls not with us until tomorrow we opened presents to each other but kept the remainder for tomorrow.

No one had much appetite this evening but managed a bit of hot and cold buffet. A lovely day.
