Boxing Day

Spent a lovely day with Liam and Sarah, but realised as I came to write my blip I hadn’t taken a single photo. As five years ago, my mum spent Christmas in hospital and I visited on Boxing Day I thought I would post that picture instead. When I found it however, I saw it with new eyes and realised she would not have wanted me to put it on display, she was so poorly she looked most unlike herself. So, I used one taken a couple of weeks earlier, in the hospital, but before she took a turn for the worse.

Despite all this, I have not been sad at all, I just quite liked the memory.
