Mom turned 87 today !  Not too shabby.

The quiet day at home, which was Mom's plan, turned into a trek across Gauteng for lunch.

Seriously,  it was like the great trek !

Karen picked up up and drove us to a restaurant in Irene, for a special lunch and then, drove us back.
